Paint Your Breath

This art task will help with relaxation, concentration and improve creativity.

Supplies needed:

watercolor paper

watercolor paint brushes

watercolor

paper towels

bowl of water

Step one: take deep breaths, allowing the mind and body to relax. Take one deep breath in, and exhale out, do that a few times, until you feel your body has relaxed.

Step two: Feel the texture of the brush bristles, the texture of the watercolor paper. And look at the colors of the watercolor paints.

Step three: when you are ready start painting, by choosing a color that represents your breath, move the brush up as you inhale and down as you exhale.

Step four: notice variations of the brushstrokes.

Step five: option: change colors to fill up the entire paper
